Cancellation Policy
Visitor Bookings at The National Golf Club
We’re pleased you’ve chosen to play The National. We understand that travel plans can shift, so here’s a clear breakdown of how cancellations and refunds work for visitor bookings made through our online booking platform.
Refund Schedule
Our refund structure is based on how far in advance of your booking date you cancel. The earlier you let us know, the more we can return.
60+ days before your booking Full refund. No questions asked.
30–60 days before your booking 75% refund.
14–30 days before your booking 50% refund.
Less than 14 days before your booking Cancellations made within 14 days of the booking date are not eligible for a refund.
Multiple Course Bookings
If you’ve booked rounds across more than one of our courses — The Old, Moonah or Gunnamatta — each booking is treated independently for the purposes of cancellation. For example, if you need to cancel one round but keep the others, refund eligibility will be assessed separately based on the date of each booking.
A Note on Fees
If your booking is cancelled, the service fee will be refunded in line with the schedule above. However, payment processing fees charged by Stripe (our payment provider) are non-refundable, as these are deducted at the time of the original transaction and cannot be recovered.
How to Cancel
To cancel a visitor booking, log in to your account and follow the prompts within your booking confirmation. If you need assistance, contact the golf operations team at The National directly.
Rescheduling
If your plans have changed but you’d still like to play, get in touch before cancelling. Subject to availability, we may be able to move your booking to a different date or course — saving you the hassle of rebooking from scratch.
Weather & Course Closures
In the event that The National closes a course due to extreme weather or course conditions, affected bookings will be eligible for a full refund or rescheduled at no additional cost. The club will communicate any closures as early as possible.
This policy applies to visitor bookings processed through The National Golf Club’s online booking platform, powered by Currents Passport. Cancellation terms for reciprocal or member bookings may differ — please contact the club directly for details.
