Outside Services Assistant
The National Golf Club is seeking a Permanent Outside Services Assistant to join our friendly and dedicated team.
Reporting to the Golf Operations Manager and supervisors, you will work collaboratively within a motivated team to support the smooth daily operations and enhance the member and guest experience at The National Golf Club.
You will be responsible for maintaining golf carts, managing member bags and buggy storage, and assisting with driving range operations including ball collection and general upkeep. The role also involves helping to ensure the course and facilities are presented to a high standard at all times.
You will support on-course operations by monitoring pace of play, assisting with tee time flow, and ensuring golf etiquette and club standards are upheld. You will also communicate with golf operations staff regarding course activity and conditions, and respond appropriately to weather and operational requirements.
As a key point of contact for members and guests, you will provide excellent customer service and assist in handling situations professionally when they arise.
The ideal candidate will have golf knowledge and an understanding of rules and etiquette, along with strong communication skills, a professional attitude, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays is essential.
